I photographed this Buoy for MARI the Maryland Artificial Reef Initiative the day it was deployed. Many people in the Chesapeake Bay area use the data it collects. It is very useful to me when planning dives on the artificial reef that it is near.

This was taken in the ocean on the way back from Nantucket Island August of 2012.
