How to Access Data Collected During Expeditions on NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer

NOAA Ocean Exploration strives to make data collected during expeditions on NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer available to scientists as soon as possible. Data are typically available in NOAA's archives 60-90 days after an expedition. The NOAA Ocean Exploration Data Management Team creates ISO standard metadata for all Okeanos Explorer data in the archives.

Data Access

NOAA Ocean Exploration ensures public access to the diverse scientific data and information collected during ocean expeditions that we support, including those on NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer. Digital data collections typically include oceanographic and geophysical parameters, video, images, documents, and other information, provided in a range of data formats and held in NOAA archives. Physical samples are archived with established repositories.
