Operational products and datasets will be made available to participants during and after the cruise, and can be accessed from several online locations. During a cruise, a suite of preliminary data and operational products are uploaded to a shore-side data repository on an hourly and daily basis, providing shore-side science participants with the latest data as if they were in the field. The purpose of these preliminary data and products is to facilitate and encourage shore-based science input and participation in the seagoing operation. Some of these products are also created for outreach purposes.
After the cruise additional processing, data quality analysis and quality control is conducted and metadata records are created before the final data and products are made publicly accessible through the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information.
