OER Launches Octonauts Corner Webpage

On April 19, the NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER) launched the Ocotnauts Corner webpage. On this webpage, visitors can download Creature Cards (educational coloring sheets) and a Deep Sea Creature Chart and view related videos from Okeanos Explorer expeditions. More content will be added as it becomes available.
In late 2016, OER established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Silvergate Media, the parent company of the Octonauts brand. The purpose of the MOU is to advance mutual interests in public education and engagement in ocean exploration issues. NOAA and Silvergate are working together to promote ocean exploration and ocean science through online/social media content and printable materials.
