This collection includes citations from papers and reports published as a result of NOAA or NOAA-sponsored ocean exploration activities. Citations are from NOAA technical reports and memorandums, scientific journals, and on-line NOAA documents. The collection gives a sample of publications from NOAA ocean exploration programs, including the Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER), National Undersea Research Program (merged with OER in 2008), and the Vents Program (now part of the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory Earth-Ocean Interactions and Acoustics programs).
The collection is organized by NOAA ocean exploration programs within the line offices, then chronologically by year within each program, and by author within each year. Each entry includes author, title, publication information, and on-line access as available.
