A crinoid (the feather star in foreground) is accompanied by gastropods and sponges on a rock outcrop at 150 m water depth. The two red dots (upper center), spaced 10 cm apart, are lasers used to determine the size of organisms in the image transmitted by the ROV. Image courtesy of Lewis and Clark 2001, NOAA/OER.
