This movie was made by Jack Cook and Mike Jakuba at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. It starts by showing the area of the seafloor that the ABE vehicle surveyed and draws the ABE tracklines over the seafloor. Then it zooms in to see ABE flying along one of the tracklines and collecting high-resolution sonar data. The ABE vehicle is completely independent from the surface ship during its mapping missions.
