Seemingly unbothered by our presence, this arrowhead dogfish (Deania profundorum) was seen at a depth of 830 meters (2,723 feet) while exploring off the coast of Florida in the Stetson-Miami Terrace Deepwater Coral Habitat of Particular Concern (HAPC) in the Blake Plateau region during the 2019 Southeastern U.S. Deep-sea Exploration.
